We’re excited to share a new tool for the data community, the DataRoles.dev job board.
We’ve been collecting data on which companies are posting data jobs anyway, so this felt like a simple way to provide value. We took our existing data pipeline and attached a minimalist frontend to it. From idea to live on the internet in just a few days.
A lot of people don’t know that LinkedIn charges companies to post jobs, so plenty of companies are only posting to their careers pages. If you’re relying only on LinkedIn to spot new jobs, you’re not only missing out on a bunch of gems, but that also means you’re applying to the stuff that has the most eyeballs on it (and competition for you).
DataRoles.dev gives you a low-hassle way to check for the newest roles posted on company careers pages. And it’s designed to minimize your time on site rather than maximize.
We hope this is helpful to the data community, and look forward to hearing the success stories of folks who find their next job through this tool.
